On May 3, Dr. Ann Leonard-Zabel, Professor of Psychology,  presented at the International Symposium on Cognitive Research & Disorders (ISCRD) 2019 Space Summit, hosted by NASA in Houston, TX.

NASA is the first space center in the world to become a Certified Autism Center. Conference attendees benefited from sessions led by global experts in Mental Health and Education and NASA scientists involved in the Humans in Space Art project with youth with ADHD, autism, and dyslexia. Dr. Leonard-Zabel gave two presentations at the Space Summit: "The War Within: Battling Anxiety-Empowering Resiliency" and "How Did I Get to Be Me? Understanding Depressive Disorders."
