School of Nursing Thought Leaders Present at National Conferences

School of Nursing Dean Desirée Hensel attended the 2018 Lippincott Nursing Education Innovation Summit in New Orleans, where she led a session called "Integrating Activity Statements into Testing and Evaluation."   

Dean Hensel also joined fellow nurse educator Diane Billings in giving a presentation titled, "Writing Easy to Read and Culturally Appropriate Test Questions."   

Nearly 100 nurse educators from around the country attended the summit.   

Also, Dr. Coleen Toronto recently delivered a presentation at the AACN 2018 Master's Education Conference in Garden Grove, California, titled, "Lessons Learned: Teaching MSN Students the Integrative Review Process."

Additionally, Advances in Nursing Science recently published Dr. Toronto's article, "Characteristics of Reviews Published in Nursing Literature: A Methodological Review."
