Curry College students and a recent alumna are making a positive difference in the lives of others this summer at two New England camps.

Daly Ruiz-King, Class of 2020, and Victoria Parks '19 are working at Camp Wediko in New Hampshire, helping to serve boys and girls ages 8-19 with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

Meanwhile, nursing majors Martina Scott, Class of 2020, Jill Demaray, Class of 2020, and Jenna Parenteau, Class of 2021 volunteered at Camp Sunshine in Casco, Maine. The future nurses were joined by School of Nursing faculty members, Dr. Maureen O'Shea and Meg Sullivan.

This was the School of Nursing's second year volunteering at the camp for children with serious illness and their families.
