TOPICS:

Academics | Student Success

On Sunday, April 30, eight Curry College students visited a Quincy homeless shelter to meet staff and guests and help beautify the grounds. Olivia Andrew and Ryan Miller, both Class of 2019, organized the trip to Father Bill's Place as part of the Student Activities Office's Leadership Development Program. Director of Student Activities Mark Metevier estimates that the students' work saved the shelter about $1,500 in landscape labor.

On Friday, April 21, and Friday, April 28, first-year Honors Program students and Criminal Justice Professor  Peter Hainer helped prepare meals for guests at Rosie's Place, a women's shelter in Boston.
