Communication Students Visit WGBH for Discussion on Race in the Media

Four Communication students and Dr. Jeff Lemberg recently attended an event at WGBH's Satellite Studio, called "In True Color: A Panel Discussion of Race, Media & Responsible Coverage."

Panelists included Princell Hair, NBC Sports Boston Senior Vice President & General Manager; Richard Chacón, WBUR Executive Director of News Content; Shirley Leung, Boston Globe Columnist; and Mark Hannon,  Senior Vice President and Market Manager at WEEI/Entercom Boston. WGBH Radio & Television Host and Commentator Callie Crossley moderated the discussion.   

The event was presented by the New England Chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association, in partnership with the Boston Association of Black Journalists and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists New England.
