“My primary reason for choosing Curry was convenience. Speaking practically, returning to school needed to be ‘doable’ for me. Curry offers a wide variety of courses at times that are suitable to working parents and that worked for me.”

want to increase your influence?
Influence is a key skill whether you are an individual contributor or aspiring leader. Few degree programs focus on the role of influencing people; effective leaders master the art of influence. Curry College's major in Leadership focuses on influence. Leadership is the most important skill employers want to see on a candidate's resume according to Job Outlook 2015, published by the National Association of Colleges and Employers. Gain the knowledge and skills you need to advance in your current career or chart a new direction for yourself by preparing for supervisory management and administrative leadership positions.
The leadership major is an interdisciplinary, cohort-based program combining theory and real-world practice through action-learning projects.
choose your own pace - Open enrollment or 20-month cohort
Open Enrollment in a Hybrid Format
The time required to complete your degree depends on the number of courses you take each term, which you can determine according to your personal and professional responsibilities. With new courses beginning at Curry every eight weeks, your progress can be as fast or as flexible as you choose.
To model the real world organizational practice of using technology in daily communication, many courses are delivered in a hybrid format. Hybrid courses combine face-to-face and online learning: some may alternate weeks meeting in-class, and others may meet weekly for a shorter period of time. Regardless of the format, you will discover that hybrid learning brings more flexibility to your academic schedule, while providing you the opportunity to personally meet your faculty and peers to strengthen your academic, social and professional networks.
This 20-month, 5-semester program is designed for students who have earned an associate degree or the equivalent amount of credits (60 credits) and want to earn a bachelor's degree at an accelerated pace. All courses are delivered in a hybrid format - a blend of in-class and online assignments - and classes meet on campus one evening per week. The Leadership Program offers a highly-competitive total package tuition rate of $22,500.
