The Curry community was in the spotlight and behind the scenes for a recent taping of "Higher Education Today," a talk show that connects viewers to contemporary issues, people, and institutions involved in the world of higher education.

The segment featuring Psychology Professor Elizabeth Carey, and Nursing Professor Maureen O'Shea, focused on Curry's Gerontology program and how the curriculum and experiential learning opportunities prepare our students to better serve the aging population. CC8-TV students received hands-on experience serving as the production crew while Communication Professor Jerry Gibbs directed the episode.

"Higher Education Today" runs on UDC-TV, and is hosted by educational consultant and author Steven Roy Goodman, who was impressed with our talented Communication students.
