Navigating Postsecondary Options for Neurodivergent Students: Finding the Right Fit

Help students navigate the college search by attending a workshop that explores the issues facing neurodivergent students. During the workshop, you will learn more from industry professionals about helping students find a college with the proper support to help meet their academic and/or social/emotional needs.
- Receive practical, hands-on suggestions you can share with families and students whom you are guiding through this complicated process.
- Learn about documentation expectations, legal requirements, and the range of
admissions processes confronting students. - Develop your repertoire of skills in understanding learning disabilities and social/emotional challenges to help your students find the ‘right fit’ for their postsecondary experience.
An optional campus tour of Whittier College at 9:00 a.m. and complimentary lunch will be available following the workshop at 12:00 p.m.
