Psychology Professor Dr. Ann Leonard-Zabel's book chapter, entitled "The Dance of Traumatic Brain Injury: Understanding and Implementing Strategies and Approaches to Empower the Afflicted Student," was recently published in a first-of-its kind training book for Learning Disabilities Worldwide (LDW).

A Response to Intervention (RTI) guide for educators and mental health professionals, Creating Compassionate Classrooms: Understanding the Continuum of Disabilities and Effective Educational Interventions, covers 13 disability categories included in IDEA and offers in-depth descriptions of best practices, along with modifications and accommodations, for each disability. Emphasis is placed on effective classroom strategies and interventions associated with each disability category.
