Curry College community participates in a circle dance during Indigenous Peoples' Day Celebration

On Monday, October 10, 2022, Curry College hosted its inaugural Indigenous Peoples’ Day Celebration on a crisp fall day at Westhaver Park. The Turtle Island Singers group performed song and dance throughout the event, while members of the Mohawk Tribe, Cherokee Tribe, Massachusetts Tribe, Croatan Tribe, and Blackfoot Tribe administered Indigenous prayer and meaningful messages to the audience.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the following people for helping make the first Indigenous Peoples’ Day at Curry College a success.
