Curry College will hold its third annual "Curry Counts" Day of Giving on Wednesday, April 5. After two years of success, this year’s Day of Giving presents exciting new goals and memorable challenges that will directly impact the lives of our students.

Established in 2021, the Day of Giving initiative raises money to support The Curry Fund, which aids institutional priorities such as student financial needs, faculty initiatives, and extracurricular activities. Last year’s Day of Giving raised over $150,000.

“We’re excited for our community to join together for our annual Curry Counts Day of Giving,” said Sally Murray, Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Alumni/Family Engagement. “The Day of Giving provides funding for the cornerstones of campus like academics, athletics, PAL, and student organizations. We can’t wait to celebrate Curry’s special community during this yearly tradition.”

Get involved with the Curry College Day of Giving:

  • Make a gift of any size and dedicate it to why Curry Counts to you; share a picture or video on social media using #CurryCounts.
  • Track our progress toward our challenges and matching gift goals.
  • Join us at Westhaver Park from 12:00-2:00 p.m. for live music broadcasted by WMLN, lunch from Latin Soul Cuisine food truck Butter "UR" Biscuit, and the chance to get a (temporary) purple streak in your hair.
  • On April 5, wear purple to show your Curry pride! Join your peers and post your own selfie video to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter about your favorite part about Curry, and make sure to use the hashtag, #CurryCounts in your post for a chance to be featured on Curry College’s social media!
