PAL Professor Dr. Laurie Fox and Mathematics Professor Dr. Jennifer McNally recently completed a mixed methods research study, "The Professor-Student Learning Relationship in Higher Education: Wisdom from Students with Learning Disabilities." The study - which will appear in an upcoming issue of The Journal on Excellence in College Teaching - explores the impact of positive student-professor interactions on learning experiences. Results suggest that learning relationships between instructors and pupils continue to influence education outcomes beyond just grades K-12.
Dr. Fox's book review of Make it Stick: The Science of Successful Learning also appears in the spring 2018 issue of The Educational Therapist.
