The Accounting Certificate is designed to help you develop expertise and technical skills to pursue a career in private or public accounting, or to further your education in graduate school. It is well-suited to those interested in developing accounting skills for a current management position or for those seeking to obtain accounting-related positions such as: general ledger accountants, payroll managers, cash managers, credit and collection managers, internal auditors and full-charge bookkeepers. This program is open to anyone seeking a stand-alone certificate program, regardless of whether you already hold a bachelor's degree or not. For those who wish to return to school to complete a bachelor's degree on a part-time basis, consider completing this certificate to augment your professional skills, while you work on your degree requirements. The credits received in this certificate may be applied toward a degree. This certificate program is not designed to prepare learners for the CPA or CMA exam.
