The Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy (MSMFT) at Curry College is a 60-credit graduate program designed for individuals who hold any bachelor’s degree, preferably in the social sciences, and are seeking licensure as a:

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

This flexible, cohort-based program is ideal for working adults and career changers who want to develop a strong professional identity in the counseling field working with individuals, couples, families, and other groups, equipping graduates for diverse master’s‑level counseling careers beyond traditional family or couples work.

Evening Classes:

In-person, two nights per week
(Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:00–9:45 PM)

Cohort Model:

Build lasting professional relationships and peer support

33-Month Completion:

Includes 11-month clinical internship

Clinical Experience:

700 total hours, with at least 300 hours of client contact

60-Credit Degree:

Meets academic requirements for dual licensure
