Aicardi Early Steps Recognized as Volunteer Group of the Year

Curry College’s Aicardi Early Steps (AES) partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston and Literations was recently honored with the 2026 Volunteer Group of the Year Award, recognizing the program’s outstanding impact and service to youth in the Boston community.

Presented by Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, the award celebrates AES as an exceptional volunteer partnership that has gone above and beyond in advancing BGCB’s mission. Launched in fall 2025, AES is a collaborative early literacy initiative between Curry College, Literations, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston designed to improve reading outcomes for students in grades 1–4 who are behind in literacy development.
