President Jay Gonzalez is pleased to announce that Anne Margulies has been elected to serve on the Curry College Board of Trustees. Anne is the former Vice President and University Chief Information Officer of Harvard University where she was responsible for information technology strategy, policies, and services that support the university’s mission of teaching, learning, and research. “I am excited to join the Curry community and serve on the board to advance our mission to educate and graduate students prepared to engage in successful careers and active citizenship with a global perspective, which is more important than ever,” said Anne.
Prior to Harvard, Anne was Assistant Secretary for Information Technology and CIO for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In 2019, Anne was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia and in 2015 was selected as the Boston CIO Leader of the Year and inducted into the CIO Hall of Fame.
