Curry College Men's Basketball head coach Phil Alibrandi recently announced the addition of 13-year-old Mikey Curran to the team through Team IMPACT, a nonprofit organization that pairs children facing serious health challenges with college athletic teams.
"We are thrilled to welcome Mikey to our team! His energy and enthusiasm are truly contagious, and we can’t wait for him to bring that positivity to our basketball program,” said Alibrandi This addition to our team is a perfect example of the strength that comes from inclusion and teamwork."
Mikey was officially introduced at a signing day press conference at Curry College on Tuesday, November 5. He will participate in a variety of team activities such as games, practices, and other events.
