Three current students and two alumni will represent Curry College radio on the finalist’s ballot for the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) National Awards.

Chuy Gomez Padilla ‘26, Joshua Bracken ‘25, and Thomas Davis ’24 were nominated for their work in the category of "Best Show Intro" for the "WMLN Curry Sports Intro," while recent graduates Bobby Fanning ‘23 and Noah Barthelemy ’23 were nominated in the Best Liner/Sweeper category for "Always Sunny at WMLN."

“The creativity and professionalism shown by these students is just a small sample of the good work being done daily by the WMLN-FM staff,” said Ken Carberry, Assistant Professor of Communication and Director of Radio. “Listen anytime to hear for yourself at 91.5 FM or stream on the TuneIn app.”

The winners will be announced at the IBS 86th Annual Conference, to be held March 1-2, 2024, in New York City.
