Professor of Psychology Dr. Ann Marie Leonard-Zabel, along with three psychology students, recently completed the two-day program, "Working with Parents in Recovery from Substance Use Disorder," in Boston. During the curriculum training, developed by The Fatherhood Project at MGH, students learned how to facilitate ten sessions of high impact evidenced-based programming for mothers and fathers who are in recovery from Substance Use Disorder.

The students are now able to add the training to their resume and can implement the program during teaching, within an internship experience, and/or as mentioned by Dr. Leonard-Zabel, when "seeking employment in the field of addictions counseling."
