Curry Compass, a Transition and Postsecondary Program for Students with Intellectual Disabilities (TPSID), is an inclusive and innovative experience offered by the Curry College Neurodiversity Center for Excellence designed to support students with intellectual disabilities who seek additional programming to thrive in college and beyond.
Curry Compass is a 2-year program which includes fall and spring academic semesters (August thru December and January thru May) that correspond with Curry College's academic calendar.

Who Is Compass For?
The Curry Compass program is designed for:
- Students with intellectual disabilities eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
- Students with documented intellectual disabilities who benefit from individualized academic and social supports.
- Students seeking enrichment in academics, socialization, independent living, self-advocacy, and career development.

Compass Program Highlights
Academics
Students audit classes with non-disabled peers and may enroll in credit-bearing courses focused on self-advocacy and transition skills.
Skill Development
Individualized career coaching, job fairs, internships, and work opportunities on campus and with community partners.
Structured Supports
One-on-one coaching, advising, and Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs). Mental health and learning specialist support included.
Community Engagement
Inclusive events, peer mentorship, wellness workshops, family transition sessions, and residential experiences in a dedicated residence hall.
