Let's Celebrate! May 1-5, 2024
Join us for Curry Creates: Let’s Celebrate! This year’s arts weekend features Student Art & Design Exhibits, and In Other Worlds: featuring dancers, singers, and studio artists from the Department of Visual & Performing Arts taking inspiration from the interplanetary songs, movement, and iconography of disco, funk, and Afrofuturism to express the radical potential of imagination and celebration. Other highlights include the Curry College at the Menino Arts Center, showcasing Curry students, faculty, and alumni works; Forward Perspectives, the Senior Design and Studio Arts Exhibition; and the Visual & Performing Arts Shine Award Ceremony.

Join us in The Galaxy Room for a performance, party, and radical departure. In Other Worlds features studio artists, singers, and dancers from the Department of Visual & Performing Arts who will envelop the audience in the glow of the cosmic sun, give voice to the interplanetary sounds of disco, funk, and Afrofuturism, and move with power and pride. Note: The 8:00 p.m. shows will be followed by dancing with effervescent joy.
