Curry College’s Neurodiversity Center for Excellence (NCE) was awarded a $165,000 grant from the Healey-Driscoll Administration in partnership with the Commonwealth Corporation. This funding will launch a comprehensive employment transition program designed to support 22 neurodivergent young adults with disabilities across Massachusetts.
The initiative focuses on building executive function skills, workplace readiness, and inclusive employer partnerships to improve employment outcomes for individuals with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences. Employer partners include Alkermes, The Trustee of Reservations, and Enterprise Mobility.
“This critical grant funding for Curry’s Neurodiversity Center for Excellence helps us provide online coaching for neurodivergent job seekers to improve their workplace readiness,” said President Jay Gonzalez. “We are grateful to continue our partnership with the Healey-Driscoll Administration, Secretary Lauren Jones, and the team at the Commonwealth Corporation.”
This is the second grant Curry has received from the Commonwealth Corporation, continuing the Curry College’s work to deepen its legacy of supporting neurodiverse learners while broadening its impact in the community.
