Eight Curry College Graphic Design students have been selected by the Photographic Resource Center (PRC) to support the organization’s 50th Anniversary design work through a Spring 2026 internship collaboration.

The internship provides students with professional, real-world design experience while contributing to a major milestone for one of the region’s longstanding arts organizations. Through structured client meetings, feedback rounds, and production-focused deliverables, students will gain applied experience that mirrors agency and in-house design workflows, strengthening portfolios and supporting a smooth transition from classroom learning to full-time employment.

“Opportunities like this demonstrate the strength of our students and the value of experiential learning,” said Alison Poor-Donahue, MFA, Chair and Professor of Graphic Design at Curry College. “Working with PRC on a project of this visibility gives students the chance to collaborate with a mission-driven organization, practice professional communication, and produce work that meets real production standards.”

During the full credit internship, students are working with PRC leadership on a range of professional design projects, including development of a 50th Anniversary logo and visual identity, editorial design for a commemorative issue of Loupe Magazine, artist books, and related print materials. The experience includes client meetings, critiques, revisions, and presentations as part of the design process.

The internship reports to Faith Ninivaggi, President of the PRC Board, and is structured as a 120-hour, credit-bearing experience during Spring 2026 and may include an opportunity for students to continue work into Fall 2026 to support production and launch phases.
