Academic Excellence
Paul Bianchi MSN, RN, CNE, CNL, is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Curry College, where he teaches undergraduate nursing students in classroom and simulation settings. He is dedicated to preparing future nurses through innovative teaching strategies, evidence-based practice, and the development of sound clinical judgment.
In addition to his academic appointment, he practices as a registered nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Boston Medical Center, caring for critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical conditions. His extensive clinical experience includes medical-surgical nursing, intermediate care, trauma surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, and critical care, allowing him to integrate current bedside practice into nursing education.
Professor Bianchi has over a decade of experience in nursing education across associate degree, licensed practical nurse, and accelerated baccalaureate nursing programs. His teaching expertise includes Fundamentals, Adult Health, Pediatrics, clinical instruction, simulation-based learning, and NCLEX preparation.
His experience also includes designing nursing courses, implementing learning management and assessment platforms, and supporting faculty through training in educational technologies. He is particularly interested in using technology and active-learning strategies to create engaging educational experiences while helping nursing students strengthen their clinical reasoning, decision-making, and readiness for practice.
