A Senior Lecturer emerita, Professor Jeannette DeJong studied in Paris where she received a diplôme de la littérature comtemporaine from the Sorbonne. She formerly taught courses in French language and culture at Curry and currently teaches a First Year Inquiry course on the topic of Happiness as well as Curry Launch.
Her interests include travel, reading, theatre, art, and foreign languages, especially French. She has performed in many plays with The Milton Players Community Theatre. Curry has recognized Professor DeJong for Excellence in Academic Advising.
