Mashuk Rahman Assistant Professor
Business Management

Dr. Mashuk Rahman is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Curry College, where he teaches Principles of Finance, Investments, Financial Modeling, and Advanced Corporate Finance. He has worked to expand experiential learning opportunities. In Fall 2026, Dr. Rahman launched the Student Managed Investment Fund at the School of Business and Technology, acting as the advisor for students to present extensive investment research and construct portfolios with $50,000 of endowed capital. He also serves on the College's Budget Committee, where he contributes to institutional financial planning and resource allocation for faculty.

Dr. Rahman's research focuses on sustainable finance, carbon markets, corporate valuation, and portfolio management, with a particular interest in how financial markets price climate-related risks and influence corporate pollution activity. His work has been published in leading finance journals, including Pacific-Basin Finance Journal and Global Finance Journal. Dr. Rahman earned his Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the University of New Orleans and his B.S. in Finance and History at Bentley University. He joined Curry College in Fall 2025 to lead the newly established Finance major.
