Michael Sampson is a retired Sergeant in the Massachusetts State Police. He brings his 25 years of experience in Law Enforcement to the classes he teaches. His career included supervising the Homicide, Narcotics, Gaming, and Organized Crime Units. Prior to entrance into the State Police Academy, he was employed as a correctional officer with the Worcester County Sheriff's Department and a Child Care worker with the Department of Youth Services.  He is a veteran of Desert Shield/Storm where he deployed to the Middle East with the Marine Corps Reserve.  Once in Saudi Arabia, he was attached to the 1st Marine Corps Division (1st FSSG). He brings his background and skills from those units to the classroom. Michael is also an alumnus. Graduating in 2001, he received his Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice (MACJ).
