We want you to have all the information and options in front of you before making the decision to withdraw or take a leave of absence.

Withdrawing may result in a reduction to the financial aid paid to your semester bill and may affect your future Curry College financial aid eligibility if you are not maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress.
Review information about the financial aid implications
Check myCurry -> Finances -> Account Invoice to see if you have an outstanding balance. Outstanding or overdue balances will impact your ability to re-enroll.
Insured students who withdraw after the waiver deadline for the year will remain enrolled in the qualified Student Health Insurance Plan for the full period for which the premium was charged. There will be no refund of premium.

You must reach out to International Student Services and Global Programming to discuss your intent. Failure to do so could result in termination of student status. Call 617-333-2065 or email george.swartz@curry.edu.
Contact the Office of Housing and Residential Life to discuss canceling your Housing request. If you withdraw from all of your classes, you will not be permitted to remain in on-campus housing. Call 617-333-3100 or email reslife@curry.edu.
If you have reviewed and completed all of the necessary checklist items above and are ready to move forward with your withdrawal, you may do so by completing the online Withdrawal Request, available by logging into the myCurry portal.
Following consultation with their academic advisor, the student must complete the online Leave-of-Absence request available by logging into the myCurry portal.
Institutions often ask for a letter of clearance (Dean’s Certification, Transfer College Report, etc.) from the current or previous school that you attended. The Dean of Students Office will fill out the form or attach your own letter of clearance when applicable. Feel free to email studentaffairs@curry.edu for support.
Apply for Re-enrollment through the Registrar’s Office. To return to the College, students must submit their application and supporting documentation 40 days prior to the start of the semester in which they intend to return. This is important for both academic and residence hall planning.

NOTE: If you have attended other institutions while away from Curry College, please have your graded official transcript sent to registrar@curry.edu for review. Transcripts are only official if sent directly from the institution or affiliated transcript processing center. Emailed transcripts from students cannot be accepted.
