Professor Buckley teaches Anatomy and Physiology, Introductory Biology, and Environmental Science courses at the College; in 2010 he developed and now teaches an Animal Behavior course.  Professor Buckley has broad interests in several fields of biology: he has worked with the Neponset River Watershed Association on the bio-control of Purple Loosestrife, an invasive perennial that degrades wetlands, and was responsible for two blocks of territory in Norfolk County for the Massachusetts Breeding Bird Atlas (2007 - 2011), a project coordinated by the Massachusetts Audubon Society.  His work with biology and environmental science students focuses on biological diversity and ecosystem assessment.  He is currently working on a field guide to the trees of subtropical Florida.
