Dr. Ikoro has been a nurse for many years and has worked in different healthcare specialties and settings that include Hospital Step-Down, Vascular Surgical, Medical-Surgical, Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care, Respite Care, Home Health Care and Telehealth Monitoring. She has a Bachelor of Science Education in Education/Biology from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife; Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts, Boston; Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences with Interdisciplinary Concentration from Northeastern University, Boston; and a Doctor of Nursing Practice with Family Practice from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is currently in the Graduate Certification program for Nursing Education at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Dr Ikoro is a Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to coming to Curry, she worked for many years as Adjunct Professor of Nursing in some local institutions. She is certified in Entrepreneurship and worked as the president of a private nursing organization. Her volunteer work includes three years as a Cable TV Commissioner for the Town of Stoughton, MA, and six years as a board member at the Stoughton Council of Aging. She enjoys pedagogy and has interest in the use of regular exercise to promote health and wellbeing of people who live with Type 2 Diabetes. She likes to read, garden, and spend time with family and friends.
