Yesenia Joseph is an accomplished advancement leader with more than 20 years of experience driving philanthropic growth and strengthening community partnerships across the nonprofit and higher education sectors. She currently serves as Interim Co-Lead of Institutional Advancement at Curry College, where she provides strategic oversight of major gifts, alumni engagement, annual giving, and donor stewardship. In this role, Yesenia works closely with college leadership and key stakeholders to design and implement fundraising initiatives that strengthen the President’s strategic plan initiatives and elevate the student experience.

Before joining Curry, Yesenia led development for the region’s largest youth-serving agency, where she advanced strategic priorities by building sustainable corporate and foundation partnerships, launching innovative stewardship programs, and leading high-impact fundraising campaigns. Her ability to align community and donor priorities with institutional goals has resulted in meaningful contributions that create lasting impact.

  • Community-Centered Philanthropy – Building inclusive fundraising and stewardship practices that honor collective impact, strengthen relationships, and inspire sustainable giving.

  • Collaborative Campaign Leadership – Designing and leading multi-channel fundraising initiatives that engage alumni, families, and local partners to expand access and participation.
  • Board & Volunteer Partnership – Serving as Vice President of the Women Working Wonders Foundation and board member of Helen’s House, while empowering trustees, councils, and community leaders as advocates, ambassadors, and champions of shared priorities.

Her personal journey as a cancer survivor further fuels her dedication to building a culture of resilience, impact, and generosity.

Yesenia also holds deep personal ties to Curry College, where her family has been part of the community—further strengthening her commitment to connecting alumni, families, and friends with the College’s mission.
