Academic ExcellencePaul King joined Curry College as the Director of Public Safety in May 2017. Paul has 34 years of experience in law enforcement, most recently as Chief of Police in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. His professional experience has included being responsible for a special squad unit, the installation of a telecommunications and video monitoring system, and managing the daily operation of a local police department, including the oversight of 142 sworn police officers and 65 civilian employees. Paul also brings with him training in sexual assault education, recognition and prevention, and has a positive approach and track record of being committed to community policing.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Bryant College and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College.
