Dr. Garth McKinney has worked at many levels in education, from classroom teacher, to school administrator, all the way to district superintendent.

He earned his Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Teaching from Stonehill College, his Master's in Reading from Fordham University, and his Ed.D. in Education Administration from Boston College.

Dr. McKinney was named New Hampshire Teacher of the Year in 2013. His written work has been featured by Learning Forward, and he has been a presenter at the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) annual convention.

He currently resides in the Greater Boston area and serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Human Resources for the Milton Public Schools.
