Rev. Dr. Ian Mevorach is a leader with a passion for building connection across difference, honoring the sacredness of each person, and creating a world based on principles of love, respect, and equity. Born and raised on Long Island in New York, he did his undergraduate studies at Middlebury College in Vermont, majoring in Philosophy with a minor in American Religion. He then studied at the Boston University School of Theology, where he earned an M.Div. and a Ph.D. in Theology and Ethics.

He is the founder and director of the Common Street Spiritual Center in Natick, MA, a love-centered community that unites people of diverse faiths and cultures, and weaves together themes of spirituality, creativity, well-being, and social justice. Ian is an ordained American Baptist minister, a practitioner of interfaith dialogue and community-building, and a facilitator of the Work That Reconnects, a form of eco-spirituality.

He has taught courses on various topics in religion and ethics at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA, and published several articles and book chapters in these fields. Recently, he served as Interfaith Chaplain at Bentley University in Waltham, MA.
