Dr. Valerie Vancza is an Assistant Professor in the Curry College Writing Program. Dr. Vancza has taught Writing and English at Fairfield University, Three Rivers Community College, Seton Hall, Sacred Heart, and URI, where she also served as the Assistant Director of the Writing Center for two years. In addition, she was an active instructor in URI's Talent Development outreach program. She has presented many conference papers on writing pedagogy, and is in the process of publishing material from her dissertation on faculty engaged in outcomes assessment in writing.
