Mason Willix Assistant Men and Women's Volleyball Coach

Mason Willix is the Assistant Head Coach for both the Women's and Men's Volleyball teams. With a robust background in coaching and a deep passion for volleyball, Mason brings great experience to our program.

Before coming to Curry College, Mason served as an elite coach at top volleyball clubs including MGA and UVC. She also has her own private coaching business, Growth Chasers Volleyball, where she focuses on developing athletes' mindsets and skills parallel to one another. She strives to not merely teach volleyball but to elevate athletes to higher levels of performance.

In addition to coaching, Mason is committed to supporting student-athletes in their academic and personal growth, ensuring they have a well-rounded and fulfilling college experience. Her dedication to the holistic development of players grows them to become a more valuable asset to the Curry College volleyball program.

Mason holds a degree in Psychology as well as Legal Studies from Wheaton College, MA and is currently pursuing her JD at New England Law. Her goal is to inspire and lead the volleyball teams to new heights, cultivating a culture of excellence and integrity.

Outside of coaching, Mason enjoys spontaneous travel, playing volleyball herself, and serving others through her church.
