Academic ExcellencePolicies and procedures for guests are provided to ensure consideration of individual students and community needs. The term “guest” or “visitor” refers to non-Curry students and Curry students who are commuters or not residents of a specific room or building.
Students must have their guests register through the Curry Visitor Registration website prior to the guests’ arrival on campus. This is to ensure the safety of your college peers as well as your guests. (All Visitors will need an active visitor pass to enter campus through the front gate or be checked into the residence halls.)
Visitors must register once via the Visitor Registration Page, and will be required to provide the following information when registering:
Once your visitor is registered, you can then register your guests through The Housing Portal under the new Visitor Registration tab. Visitors can register for a Day Pass from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. or an Overnight Pass from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
In all residence halls, guests must be escorted through the hall at all times in order to ensure the right to a reasonable degree of privacy for each resident. All individuals within the residence halls may be asked to show ID. The host student is responsible for their guest at all times and may be held accountable for their guest’s behavior through the Community Standards process.
A residential student may host a maximum of two guests at any given time. No guest may stay more than three consecutive days in a seven-day period. Additionally, no guest may stay more than seven days total in a 30-day period. All overnight guests must have the permission of the roommate prior to their stay. Students are responsible for the conduct of and adherence to policies by any guest, and inappropriate behavior and damage caused by the guest becomes the responsibility of the host student.
Additional Policies:
Curry College staff reserves the right to deny access to any guest or may ask a guest to leave if deemed necessary.
