Important Update for F-1 International Students:

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced significant changes to F-1 student immigration regulations that are scheduled to take effect on September 15, 2026. Under the new rule, F-1 students will no longer be admitted to the United States under "Duration of Status" (D/S) and instead will receive a specific admission end date on their I-94 record. The changes may affect program extensions, transfers, OPT, travel, and post-completion grace periods. Curry College's Office of International Student Services & Global Programming is closely monitoring these developments and has prepared detailed information to help students understand how the new regulations may affect them.
