Made for students not majoring in Business but still wanting to build a solid foundation in key professional business areas, the Business Administration Minor is a great option. It covers the essentials—like financial accounting, macroeconomics, finance, marketing, management, and information systems—giving you a well-rounded understanding of how businesses operate. You'll explore how decisions are made, how money moves, how global companies are managed, and how technology plays a role in all of it. Whether you're heading into healthcare, media, tech, or any other field, this minor gives you practical skills that can boost your career in almost any industry.

Required Courses (18 credits)

ACNT1010: Financial Accounting
ECON1010: Macroeconomics
MIS1010: Managing with Information Systems*
FIN2000: Principles of Finance
MRKT2520: Principles of Marketing
BUS3930: Management of International Business

*Computer Science majors can take MIS 1010 or MIS XXX Intro to Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Business Administration Minor, students will be able to:
