Cristian Iftode is a higher education professional with over a decade of experience guiding students from academic exploration to career achievement. Currently serving as a Career Advisor at Curry College’s Career & Experiential Learning (CXL) office, Cristian supports students through personalized advising, hands-on programming, and employer engagement that aligns with Curry’s commitment to ensuring meaningful post-graduation outcomes for every student.

His background includes academic and career advising roles at institutions such as Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), Rivier University, and Northeastern University. In these roles, he developed and delivered career readiness content both in the classroom and online teaching courses ranging from First-Year Success Strategies to Experiential Learning Preparation and IT Fundamentals. He also served as an internship coordinator, bridging the gap between student interests and real-world opportunities through scalable, inclusive career programs.

Cristian holds a Bachelor of Science in Safety and Environmental Health from Keene State College and a Master’s in International Business from SNHU. His cross-disciplinary background supports a holistic advising style that blends occupational insight, global perspective, and a deep belief in student potential. His strengths in adaptability, communication, strategic thinking, and individualization shape his collaborative approach to career development and workforce readiness.

Outside of work, Cristian enjoys spending time with his family and three pets, traveling overseas, and pursuing a lifelong passion for music. A self-taught guitarist of over 20 years, he is currently learning keyboards and records music at a professional studio. He’s also a proud automobile and motorcycle enthusiast who brings the same curiosity and energy from the road into every student conversation.
