A minor in information technology complements a variety of majors, including, but not limited to, Business Management, Communication, and Criminal Justice.Requirements for the Information Technology Minor:

Several Curry College IT majors had the opportunity to present their work in a professional setting at the annual Boston Code Camp (25) in the spring of 2016. The conference brings regional software development professionals together for the opportunity to immerse themselves in seminars, presentations, group exploration, and networking.
Like many high school kids, Ivan Marchany '16 was very much into video games. But little did he realize that his boyhood hobby would turn into a career path in cyber-security. Because of a learning difference, Ivan's college search led him from his home in Puerto Rico to the Curry College PAL program, where he has thrived academically as an IT major, turning his once-perceived weaknesses into strengths.
Shawn Edge '08 was always that neighborhood kid who got called over to a friend's house to set up a VCR or troubleshoot on the computer. By the time he started his college search a dozen years later, he knew he wanted to major in information technology and gain hands-on practical experience, and the Curry College program seemed like a perfect fit. He is now the Senior Quality Assurance Lead, Mobile for Target.
Stacy Osorio '14, an Information Technology major and Management minor from Pittsfield, Massachusetts has known since high school that she wanted to pursue a career in the IT field. After graduation, she quickly secured ajob as a sales engineer at Localytics in Boston, an international web app marketing and analytics firm.
