- About Curry
The Curry College Wellness Center is a conveniently located, all-in-one resource for students to connect and meet with staff members in Counseling, Health Services, Wellness Education, and Spiritual Life. Students are able to enjoy the space through different programmatic opportunities and hands on resources that aim to foster an individual's personal wellness goals.
The Counseling Center provides short-term individual, couples and group counseling. We also provide consultation and psycho-educational workshops. Professional counselors are available to assist with personal concerns and to provide a place to simply talk things over in a confidential and supportive environment. All services are available without additional costs to Curry students.
Sodexo Campus Services and Curry College, partners since 1997, believe that our hard working college students should be rewarded with a dining service that makes eating on campus palate-pleasing, healthy, and entertaining. Health and wellness are important to us and we understand the importance of providing balanced and nutritious choices in the dining hall and retail locations.
Curry College offers a variety of programs in order to provide the entire campus with the opportunity to stay active. There is something for everyone on campus! It is our mission to provide quality programs that enrich the collegiate learning experience and foster a lifetime appreciation in wellness, recreational sports, and activities through friendly competition, fair play, teamwork, diversity and integrity.
Curry College maintains a free outpatient clinic, staffed by nurse practitioners, a registered nurse, and a consulting physician. These health professionals work together to provide quality medical care for routine, acute, and chronic health problems and injuries. All full-time students who carry at least 12 credits are eligible to use the Health Services.
The Office of Spiritual Life offers programming and resources to support, grow, and foster the spiritual and religious well-being of all students. Spiritual wellness is key to becoming well-rounded, able to respond effectively to life's challenges and to live a life of meaning and purpose.
The Office of Substance Abuse and Wellness Education provides wellness promotion and educational resources that help to empower and support students to make informed decisions regarding their health and well-being. Through collaboration with student leaders, faculty, and staff, we provide resources, outreach education and prevention programs about a wide range of health and wellness topics including: alcohol and other drugs, stress management, sexual health, healthy relationships, body image, and encouraging healthy lifestyles.
