Educating the Top Nurses in Massachusetts for Nearly 50 Years

In 1977, Boston Children's Hospital School of Nursing elected to phase out their diploma school and merge their resources with Curry College. As the first nursing program in the State of Massachusetts to be accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, we pride ourselves on delivering a rigorous, world- class, educational experience that prepares graduates to provide the highest quality of nursing care.

Nailing the NCLEX!

We are excited to share our Curry College Nursing program 2024 NCLEX-RN pass rates. Our inaugural Accelerated Entry-Master of Science in Nursing (AE-MSN) cohort had a 100% First-Time NCLEX-RN pass rate! Our Baccalaureate program, including our traditional and Accelerated Second Bachelor’s Degree (ACCEL) students, had a 94.38% first-time pass rate. All of our program tracks exceeded the national first-time pass rate of 91.92%. We are pleased share this wonderful news and are so very proud of our graduates and the dedicated Curry faculty who contributed to their learning!

A Career of Care, A Life of Meaning: How Devin Sadlers ’13 Found His Calling - and His Family - Through Curry College

While working in a medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Boston during the devastating 2013 Marathon bombings, Devin Sadlers '13 was overwhelmed by the intensity and gravity of the tragedy as critically injured patients poured into his unit. Yet, amidst the weight of it all, he experienced a moment of clarity—he knew that nursing was his true calling and that he was exactly where he was meant to be.

Students Showcase Research, Creativity, and Passion at Annual Academic Forum

Over 70 students proudly presented their scholarly achievements and creative projects at the annual Academic Forum held in Katz Gymnasium. The Academic Forum highlights a diverse array of student-led projects, ranging from scientific research and graphic design to studies in the media. Under the guidance of faculty mentors, students presented their work through posters, presentations, and digital displays.

From a decade-long career as a hairdresser to her acceptance into a Ph.D. program in Nursing, Cassey Bullard’s career path has been anything but traditional. As she stood behind her salon chair, she never imagined that the girl from rural Iowa, with a town of 960 people and one traveling doctor, would be on her way back to the Hawkeye State as a Registered Nurse, bachelor’s degree recipient, and doctoral degree candidate.

President Jay Gonzalez announced at his Inauguration this afternoon that Curry College will be the first college in Massachusetts to offer a job guarantee program, called The Curry Commitment, beginning with the current freshmen Class of 2027.
