The Center for Career Development strives to produce meaningful and effective career events for our students and alumni. Events range from small employer info sessions and alumni success panels to larger opportunities like workshops and job and internship fairs.
The Career & Internship Fair connects students to job and internship opportunities. Undergraduate students as well as graduating seniors attend this event to speak individually with recruiters and company representatives about job and internship opportunities. This event occurs annually during the spring semester.
The annual Career Conference is Curry's premier career preparation event for all students. This event occurs in the fall semester and is intended to prepare students for their spring job and internship search. Highlights of the event include a panel of employers discussing tips and tricks on the hiring process and a networking event in which over 100 employers participate annually.
In addition to large campus-wide events, the Center for Career Development also hosts a variety of smaller events for specific majors, student populations, or industries. Past events have included:
Not only do Curry students have endless internship opportunities in the Boston market, but we also offer study away programs in D.C., L.A., and N.Y.C. Our interns have worked at places like Universal Pictures, "Jimmy Kimmel Live", CBS News, NBC Olympics, and The Washington Post, to name a few.
