Since 2019, Curry College has been easing the burden on local taxpayers by making it possible for a group of accounting students to become certified to serve in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. To get ready for their VITA work, students learn the TaxWise preparation software in the fall through Associate Lecturer Janet Peterson’s one-credit VITA class.Meet Our Faculty Internship Facilitators:

Not only do Curry students have endless internship opportunities in the Boston market, but we also offer study away programs in D.C., L.A., and N.Y.C. Our interns have worked at places like Universal Pictures, "Jimmy Kimmel Live", CBS News, NBC Olympics, and The Washington Post, to name a few.
