Create your own Study Abroad opportunity, or go global as part of our Short-term, Faculty-led Courses.Explore the World
We proudly offer many ways to study abroad. Along with institutional partnerships, you can create your own Study Abroad opportunity, or go global with our own faculty members as part of our Short-term, Faculty-led Courses. These incredible 2 and 3-week excursions take courses out of the classroom and to destinations like China, Ireland, Mexico, and to our partner sites in England and France. You can even spend a semester in LA, New York, or Washington, DC, through our Study Away program.
Curry students have the option of two semester-long institutional partnerships with campuses in London, England (Richmond University) and Ambialet, France (via St. Francis University, Pennsylvania).
Students may elect to create their own study abroad opportunity through a third-party provider. Our students have traveled to Australia, China, Ireland, Italy, Thailand, and many more dream destinations.
Experience a 2- or 3-week class abroad! Short-term faculty led courses take you out of the classroom and off to destinations like Cuba, China, Ireland, Mexico, and more!

"My advice to students studying abroad would be to be willing to take risks; whether it be trying a new food, or exploring a new culture, in doing so you will come to find the reward invaluable."
"My study abroad experience changed my whole outlook on life. I had never left the country before going abroad and experiencing another culture was completely eye opening. I met so many different people from all over the world during my time abroad, now I have friends all over the globe."
"Bringing nursing students to France to learn about nursing and healthcare in a different setting is an eye opening experience. Observing hospitals, clinics and home health nurses demonstrated incredible differences from the 'evidence based practice' we espouse in the USA. We found a greater emphasis on caring; particularly with regard to home care for elders. Of course there was ample time to sightsee!!"
"I would love for more students to know that studying abroad is an amazing way of getting to know yourself and the others!"
