Students preparing for professional work in fields such as advocacy, criminal justice, nursing, organizational behavior, sociology and social work can benefit from a Certificate in Restorative Justice from Curry College. Many professionals in careers that involve helping and supporting others are not adequately prepared to deal with the traumas embedded in the environments they work in, causing a resulting stress. The Restorative Justice certificate program focuses students on trauma, healing and resiliency with an emphasis on restorative justice practices where the relationship between justice and healing is explored. Taught by highly skilled practitioners in the field of restorative justice, this certificate will provide Curry College students the skills they need to more effectively deal with violence and violation as well as the traumas they are exposed to throughout their careers.
