Claire Senita '14 was featured in the Spring 2016 issue of The Pittsburgh Foundation's publication, 'Community Forum'. Senita, who suffered a spinal cord injury in 2006, is crafting a business plan to launch a Journey Forward franchise in her native Pittsburgh, a non-profit, exercise based program designed to assist those with spinal cord injuries.
To complement his real world classroom experience, Martin Heavey has had no shortage of field practice to take with him into the professional realm. While at Curry he's interned at Doble Engineering and Talbots. And in the summer of 2015, he got the opportunity of a lifetime; an internship at Hill Holliday, one of the nation's largest and most successful advertising agencies.
Dr. Shavindrie ("Shavi") Cooray examines the relationships between humans and technology with her students by embracing technology and by looking at the bigger picture - something she has done extensively in her Ph.D. research and as a former analyst in the corporate world.
The purpose of Sigma Beta Delta is to encourage and recognize scholarship and achievement among students of business, management, and administration, as well as, to encourage and promote personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service to humankind.
