Designed to foster student success in the sciences, the Science Scholars LLC provides structured courses and support for students entering with a major in Biology, Biochemistry, or Forensic Science. Students work together on course projects and assignments, while also exploring the possibilities for internships and other experiential learning beyond the classroom.

What to Expect

  • A Living Learning Community Mentor (former Science Scholars participant) present and available to support students through their academic experience and provide targeted programming on course themes
  • Group social and academic activities both in and out of the residence hall
  • Opportunities to support fellow participants through study and tutor sessions

Academic Course Load: 8 credits during fall semester, 8 credits during spring semester
Size: 20 students
Location: North Campus Residence Hall (NCRH)
Roommate Policy: Roommate needs to be a participant in one of the four LLC programs housed in NCRH
Restrictions: Open to all science majors (Biology, Biochemistry, Forensic Science)

Interest Form

Students must complete the  online intent form. Intent forms are currently being accepted until the program is full.
