In our major, minors, concentrations and numerous elective classes, you're sure to find the communication-related offering that best fits your professional goals.
A Curry College Communication degree can take you to the center of it all – long before you graduate. Choose the communication major, minor or a specialized communication concentration.
Communication Major and Minor Communication Individually Initiated Concentration Communication Studies ConcentrationStudents who may enjoy careers in communication consulting, human resources, sales, management, political campaigns, or want to become a spokesperson at a major company, should pursue a concentration in Public Relations/Corporate Communication.
PR/Corporate Communication ConcentrationToday, it’s not enough to know how to compose and light a shot, how video and television production works, or how to write for radio. You need to understand it all. No matter which of these creative concentrations you choose, you’ll gain a well rounded education to set you apart.
Film Concentration Radio/Audio Production Concentration Television/Digital Video ConcentrationDue to ongoing digital innovations and rapid changes in how people consume information, the Multimedia Journalism concentration provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary for the jobs of today and the ever-evolving opportunities of tomorrow.
Multimedia Journalism ConcentrationCurry Theatre is not only a communication minor and concentration, but is open to all students at the college. Each semester, students write, direct, build, promote, and stage productions in Keith Auditorium and/or Black Box Theatre on campus.
The Video Game Studies concentration provides students with insight into the cultural phenomenon of gaming, its historical underpinnings and the economic and business aspects of this multi-billion dollar industry.
