Sports Communication

Curry College's sports communication concentration will prepare you for exciting careers in this fun and ever-evolving field. Students who graduate with a communication degree with a focus in sports communication will have the knowledge and tool belt to work in a variety of settings, from the traditional to the cutting-edge, including sports writing, reporting, and blogging, sports radio/TV broadcasting and live streaming, sports social media and digital content creation, sports promotion and sales, sports photojournalism, and much more!

Video Gaming Studies Minor

The Curry College Video Gaming Studies minor is one of the only programs of its kind in the area to train students in the practical skills of game design while also incorporating a critical analysis of video games with the gaming industry's business.

Today, it’s not enough to know how to compose and light a shot,  how video and television production works, or how to write for radio. You need to understand it all. No matter which of these creative concentrations you choose, you’ll gain a well rounded education to set you apart.

Multimedia Journalism

Due to ongoing digital innovations and rapid changes in how people consume information, the Multimedia Journalism concentration provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary for the jobs of today and the ever-evolving opportunities of tomorrow.

Theatre

Curry Theatre is not only a communication minor and concentration, but is open to all students at the college. Each semester, students write, direct, build, promote, and stage productions in Keith Auditorium and/or Black Box Theatre on campus.
